Who we are

Scaling Engine is a marketing and growth services company operated by Noah Wessel. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

It covers this website, the forms and booking pages you may use on it, and the services we provide to clients. Where we need your consent for something, we will ask for it plainly and you can withdraw it later.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to talk with you, deliver our work, and run our business.

  • Contact details you submit through our forms: your name, email address, phone number, company, and the message you send us.
  • Booking and scheduling information: the times you select, the details you add when you reserve a call, and the reminders we send you about it.
  • Payment information: card and billing details are collected and processed by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our own systems.
  • Usage, device, cookie and analytics data: pages viewed, referring and exit pages, clicks, approximate location, browser, device, and identifiers. This includes data from the Meta Pixel and similar advertising and analytics tools.
  • Information you give us in conversations, calls, or email, such as notes about your business and what you want to achieve.

How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiries and get back to you about our offers and services.
  • To deliver and manage our services, including onboarding, scheduling, support, and billing.
  • To send service and marketing communications. You can opt out of marketing at any time and still receive messages you specifically asked for.
  • To measure and improve our advertising and our website, including which pages and ads are useful.
  • To keep our systems secure, prevent abuse and fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences, understand how pages are used, and measure the performance of our ads. This includes the Meta Pixel, which helps us see whether an ad led to an inquiry and build audiences for advertising.

You can control cookies in your browser settings and block or delete them at any time. You can also adjust your ad preferences with the platforms that serve us ads, including Meta. Turning cookies off may make some parts of the site work less well.

How we share information

We share personal information in a small number of ways:

  • With service providers acting on our behalf, such as our CRM, scheduling, email, hosting, payment processor, and advertising platforms. They use it only to do the work we ask them to do.
  • When required by law, for example in response to a valid legal request, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
  • In a business transfer, such as a sale, merger, or acquisition, where the information may be part of the transferred assets.

We do not sell personal information.

Data from Meta and Facebook integrations

When we connect to Meta (Facebook and Instagram) through our Meta app, we access data only to manage, analyze, and report on advertising accounts that we own or that we are authorized to manage. We do not sell that data and we do not use it for any other purpose. We handle it in line with Meta's Platform Terms and this policy.

If you connected with us through Facebook, you can ask us to delete the Meta-related data we hold about you in the same way as any other deletion request, described below.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described here, or for as long as the law requires. When we no longer need it, we delete it or anonymize it so it can no longer be linked back to you.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, such as access controls, encrypted connections, and limited access to systems. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we work to keep information protected.

Your rights and choices

You can ask us to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Delete your personal information.
  • Opt out of marketing messages, using the unsubscribe link in any email or by telling us directly.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, such as the right to object to certain processing, request a copy of your data in a portable format, or appeal a decision we make about a request.

To request data deletion, email Support@scalingengine.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include enough detail for us to find your information, such as the email address you used with us. We will confirm we received your request and respond within a reasonable time, normally no more than 30 days.

If you connected with us through Facebook and want your Meta-related data deleted, send the same email and subject line and tell us that your request covers data from your Facebook connection.

Children's privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, or under 16 where that higher age applies. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. When we do, we will post the updated version here and change the effective date at the top of the page. We recommend checking back from time to time.
